Site privacy

Effective 28 September 2026. This page covers the website tobioedge.com. Each app has its own privacy policy, linked from its page and from the store listing.

The short version

This site has no accounts, no forms, no comments and no cookies of its own. It counts visits and clicks with analytics that forget you when you close the tab, and it stays silent if your browser asks not to be tracked.

Analytics

The site uses Amplitude to see which pages are viewed and which links are clicked: store badges, buttons, navigation, privacy pages, the contact address and the Ko-fi link. It also notes, once per page, that a mouse, a touch or a key was used at all, and which of the three. That is the whole list. Nothing is recorded about what you type, where the pointer goes or how far you scroll, and no element autocapture runs.

The identity Amplitude uses is a random id kept in your browser's session storage, so it disappears when the tab closes and is never shared between visits or devices. Your IP address is not stored with the events. Amplitude processes this data in the United States.

Most visits to this site are automated: app store checks, search engines and other robots. To count people apart from them, the site's own server at Cloudflare looks up what kind of network a visit comes from, a data centre or a home or mobile provider, along with the provider's name and the country. Only those three labels go to Amplitude; the address they are looked up from is never stored or passed on. When a browser says it is a robot, its browser name goes with the events too.

If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, the analytics script does nothing at all.

Fonts and hosting

Pages load one display font from Google Fonts, so Google's servers receive that request, including your IP address, as with any web request. The site itself is served by Cloudflare, which, like any host, sees the requests it answers and keeps short lived logs to run the service.

Links to other places

Store badges lead to the App Store and Google Play, the good news page links to the original stories, and the coffee link leads to Ko-fi. Each of those sites has its own privacy policy, and what happens there is between you and them.

Who runs this

The site is run by TobioEdge, a one-person studio in Norway. Questions about this page or about anything the site does go to tobdev237@gmail.com.

Changes

When the site starts or stops collecting something, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves.
