Plate Calculator is a barbell loading calculator. It has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no network access. This policy is short because the app collects nothing.
What the app collects
Nothing. The app never sends data anywhere. It contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK and no tracking of any kind, and it works fully offline.
Data the app handles on your device
Your bar setups, plate inventory, calculation history and settings are stored in a local database on your device only. We (the developer) never receive, see, or store any of it.
- Setups and plates. The bars and plate inventories you describe stay in the app's private storage.
- History. Recently calculated weights are kept locally so you can bring them back with one tap.
- Settings (units, haptics, keep screen awake) are stored on your device only.
- Deleting your data. Uninstall the app. Because everything is on your device, that removes it completely. There is no copy anywhere else.
Purchases
The app is bought once, upfront, through Apple's App Store or Google Play. Those purchases are handled entirely by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies. The app itself receives nothing about you from the transaction.
Children
The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If a future version ever changes any of the above, this page will be updated with a new effective date before that version ships, and the change will be noted in the app's release notes.
